Homework support

Cannot attend every homework lesson?

Students can still join if they cannot attend the homework-support lesson live every week.

Email Anish the question numbers or topics that need extra help. They can be discussed during the lesson and the student can watch the recording afterwards.

Waiting list

What if a class is full?

When a class becomes full, its free-trial button will be replaced by a waiting-list option.

Mathinar will contact you when a suitable place becomes available. A free-trial button and waiting-list button will not be shown at the same time.

Try the complete programme

What happens when you book a free trial?

The trial is completely free and includes both parts of the weekly programme. No payment details, registration fee or deposit are required.

Choose the year group

Check the class time and make sure a place is currently available.

Attend both sessions

The trial includes the main teaching lesson and the homework-support lesson.

Discuss the next step

After the trial, Anish arranges a telephone call with the parent. If you continue, you receive the secure Kajabi checkout link.

Joining during the year

Years 9, 10 and 12

Students can normally join at any point during the academic year, provided a place is available.

Final examination years

Years 11 and 13

New students are not normally accepted after the end of February. From 1 March, the status changes to Enrolment closed for this academic year.

Questions parents ask

Class availability FAQs

Are the teaching and homework lessons separate?

Yes. The teaching lesson introduces and develops the mathematics. The homework-support lesson reviews questions, addresses misconceptions and revisits difficult topics.

Are lessons recorded?

Yes. Teaching and homework-support lessons are recorded so enrolled students can catch up after an occasional absence and revisit explanations when revising.

Does my child have to attend the homework lesson live?

No. Live attendance is helpful but it is not essential every week. Students can submit questions in advance and watch the recording afterwards.

Can my child attend a different class if they miss a lesson?

No. There is currently one class for each year group. The recording is available when a student occasionally misses a lesson.

Can we join after February?

Students in Years 9, 10 and 12 can join later in the academic year if a place remains. New Year 11 and Year 13 enrolments normally close at the end of February.

How often is this page updated?

The figures are updated when students join or leave. Check the visible last-updated date near the top of the page for the most recent position.
